Our Journey

When we first opened the feeding programs, those early days there was no proper kitchen yet to prepare meals. So volunteers from local church and women from the surrounding community came together to help, with limited resources they cooked outside in large pots over wood fire. Every volunteer was dedicated to preparing enough food for every child.

In those early years, Mrs. Pagaja’ family home was not big enough to accommodate all the children during mealtimes and group activities. To ensure every child had a comfortable place to eat and gather, we rented a large tent along with chairs. Under that tent, the children shared meals, learned together, celebrated special occasions, and built lasting friendships. Though our facilities were limited, the tent became a symbol of our determination to provide a safe, welcoming environment where every child felt welcome, valued and cared for.

Ground was broken, and construction of the feeding hall began. Within a year, a beautiful hall was completed. Since then, it has served as a safe and welcoming place where the children receive nutritious meals. Beyond feeding, the hall has also become a center for learning, and other developmental activities that support the children’s growth and well being.

Looking Ahead

As we move forward, we continue to hold the vision that Mrs. Patricia Pagaja carried in her heart, a vision of providing every child not only with daily meals but also with a safe, loving, and permanent home. By God’s grace and through the generosity of faithful friends, we have witnessed incredible milestone, including the construction of our feeding hall. Yet, there is still much to be done. Our next dream is to build a permanent home where these children can grow, learn, and thrive in a secure and nurturing environment. We know that this vision is far greater than we can accomplish on our own.

Just as God provided through compassionate partners in the past, we believe He will continue to work through people who share our passion for giving vulnerable children hope and brighter future. Any contribution, no matter the size, will go a long way towards making this dream a reality. Together, we can provide these children not only with food for today but also with the security, love, and opportunities they need for tomorrow. Thanks to all for believing in our mission, for standing with us, and for helping us continue the legacy of hope and love that Mrs. Patricia Pagaja envisioned. May God richly bless you all for your kindness and generosity.
