In 2022, Philadelphia Center for Help experienced a profound loss with the passing of its founder, Patricia Pagaja. For more than two decades, she dedicated her life to serving vulnerable children and elderly individuals in Mtonda Village, becoming a source of hope and encouragement to many.
Her vision extended beyond providing food. She believed every child deserved dignity, opportunity, education, and the chance to build a better future. Through her faith, perseverance, and commitment, she demonstrated what it means to serve others with compassion and purpose.
While her passing was deeply felt throughout the community, her mission did not end. Inspired by her example, her family and supporters chose to continue the work she began. Today, Philadelphia Center for Help remains committed to addressing the physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs of vulnerable children.
As we look to the future, we continue working toward the dream Patricia carried for many years: establishing a stable and fully operational facility that can provide comprehensive care and long-term support to children in need.
